Youtubers – Tanya Burr | Blogmas Day 19

Hi! :)

I have talked a lot about Tanya Burr lately, since she loves Christmas and has made some nice festive videos so far. So I decided to write another post of ‘Youtubers’, because I haven’t done it in ages. I thought it would be the perfect time to write about her as part of Blogmas.

Tanya Burr is a 26-year-old Youtuber from Norwich, England. She currently lives in London with her husband, Jim Chapman who is also a Youtuber. They got married this year. Her channel specializes mainly in beauty and fashion videos, but she makes lifestyle videos as well. She is doing vlogmas at the moment, too. She has been on Youtube since 2009, which is crazy! I first saw one of her videos around 2011 I think, and it’s incredible to see how far she has come since then.

In 2014 she released her own make-up line called Tanya Burr Cosmetics. It consists of products that she put together to fit her taste perfectly, containing nail polishes, eye lashes, lip glosses, different kind of palettes and so on. Her line is very popular and she continues to come out with new products quite often because of the huge demand.

She wrote a book called Love, Tanya, which was published early 2015 by Penguin Books. It is an autobiography that contains baking, beauty and fashion sections as well. I have this book, too, but I haven’t had the time to read it yet, and I am currently reading another one. I might post a review about her book though if you’re interested.

She was on the cover of the December issue of Glamour magazine in the UK, which is a pretty big deal. It shows the size of Youtube and that team Internet can do anything. I am so proud of her.

I like Tanya, because in my opinion she is one of the loveliest people on Youtube and she seems very sweet. She is really genuine and honest. I love watching her baking videos, becuase of seeing how much joy she has while baking. I also like watching her beauty videos, even though I can’t put on make-up, because I am that clumsy. Her beauty videos seem very professional, and you can see throughout her videos how much she has improved since the beginning.

I recommend everyone to check out her channel, just click here! I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I certainly did like writing it. See you tomorrow!

Bye x

Youtubers – Hudson Taylor

Hi! :)

I am here with another post. It is a special one for me. In this episode of my ’Youtubers ’ series I wanted to talk about a band called Hudson Taylor. They started their Youtube channel in 2011. They are an Irish pop-folk duo, consisting of Harry and Alfie, two brothers. I have known them from the very beginning, which makes me so proud. Since then, they have reached so many things! Their first ever album, Singing For Strangers comes out on Monday worldwide, which you can pre-order by clicking here. On their channel, they mostly post original posts, but very rarely they do covers, too. I like them because of their originality and that they are so genuine. They are very calming tol isten to, and they love making music, which can be seen from their videos. They were the first duo who I had discovered back then playing this type of music and I have been in love with them ever since. Continue reading Youtubers – Hudson Taylor

Youtubers – Bethany Mota

Hi! :)

I’m here again with another ’episode’ of Youtubers. In the first one I talked about Leroy, who is one of my biggest favourites, but today I will write about Bethany Mota, who is my absolute favourite. She is the first Youtuber who I had discovered.

Currently she is 19 years old, and she is American with Mexican and Portuguese roots, too. Her channel was created in 2009 and it’s mainly about beauty and fashion. I have known her since 2010 and have love her ever since then. She is a very humble, adoring, kind-hearted, helpful, creative, and a fun girl. Her videos always cheer me up, and her editing skills are on point, also getting better and better. She a great sence in designing, her room is very colourful and always up-to-date, when it’s Easter it’s Easter-themed, when it’s Valentine’s Day it’s V-Day-themed. She also does cooking videos and vlogs on her second channel called Bethanyslife (click here to see her second channel). Continue reading Youtubers – Bethany Mota

Youtubers – Leroy Sanchez

Hi! :)

I had mentioned it a while ago that I wanted to write about the youtubers I watch, and mostly about my favourite ones. The day has come, it’s the first post of this ’series’, which I’m very excited about, since I love talking about youtubers and Youtube in general. I thought I will start with one of my favourite person on Youtube, Leroy Sanchez.

Leroy has been on Youtube for over 8 years now, which is really crazy to think about, almost right after Youtube had been created. He is a 23-year-old Spanish singer and songwriter, who currently lives in Los Angeles. He happened to be one of the first people who I’d found on Youtube, which is insane. I have known him for about 4 years, and he still is one of the best artists out there I think. His voice is amazing, unique, beautiful and very calming. I have loved every single song he’s covered and it’s just so nice to listen to him. Continue reading Youtubers – Leroy Sanchez

Second post in a week, what?! I’ve wanted to write this post for a very long time, but I never really knew how to start, or what to write, because I have so much going on in my mind about this topic. Then, because I was so uncertain about this post, I decided not to overthink things, and just write down what’s on my mind.

Youtube is a huge part of my life, and has been for lots of years. Youtube was founded in 2005, and has been owned by Google since 2006, so it has been around for a very long time, and the website is on its peak right now, it’s literally thriving. I don’t know that much of its history, but the one thing I know is that it’s one of the most amazing (if not the one) websites ever created, and I’m so thankful for that. You know, there are lots of horrible videos out there on the website which people should never see in their lives, but that is not the point, that I want to make right now. I may be young to say that big things, but I think Youtube has changed everyone’s life who uses it. Being serious, you all use it for something, maybe just for listening to music and watching a music video, or studying by watching helpful videos, or watching funny videos, watching Youtubers, or anything. And I’m sure it helped you in some way, it may only put a smile on your face, or it even gave you lots of happy, cheerful moments by watching people on there. I don’t know where I was going to go with this little speech, but I just wanted to let you know that Youtube is a great invention. At least, I love it. Continue reading YouTube
