Summer Thoughts

Hi! :)

I know it has been ages since my last post, I’m so sorry! I have been crazy busy lately and to be honest, I haven’t really had that much inspiration as usual.

I went on holiday with my family for about two weeks, which was quite nice. I also have been planning moving out to another country next month, and I’m so nervous/excited about it. I’m still waiting for an accomodation offer though. I’ll have news of my application at the end of the week. :)

Since I haven’t done Songs Of The Month posts for a while, I thought I’d share some of my favourite songs at the minute. Here we go:

  • Tears by Clean Bandit feat. Louisa Johnson
  • Good Grief by Bastille
  • Alive by Khai
  • Basically Kygo’s whole album
  • Kill Em With Kindness by Selena Gomez (my queen <3)
  • Life Itself by Glass Animals
  • (Starving by Hailee Steinfeld & Grey feat. Zedd, which I’ve only just listened to very recently but fell in love with)

I graduated as well (as you can probably tell by me rambling about university). As always, I watch Youtube videos daily – starting to get into some local ones, too. Another thing, I’ve read some good books this summer so far, currently I’m reading The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson (but haven’t got that far into it yet).

Finally, yes, I got into the Pokemon GO hype as well. I enjoy it a lot, especially because it gets me outside more. Now I’m not that lazy (haha).

That’s all for now, again, I’m sorry to have disappeared. Have a great day!

Christmas Videos | Blogmas Day 17

Hi! :)

As you all know from my previous post of Blogmas, Youtube gets really hectic around Christmas time. So I decided to share some Christmassy Youtube videos, which I have enjoyed watching this year so far – except any vlogmas video.

Grace Helbig has a very unique humor and is known as a comedian. Her videos are truly funny. This video is a collaboration with Connor Franta, another Youtuber I am subscribed to, and I just thought this video is a bit Christmassy, but really is a lot funnier.

Zoe Sugg, also known as Zoella made a beautiful Christmas lookbook the other day. I love everything about this video, I feel like I don’t have to say more about it. It speaks for itself, at least in my opinion.

Danielle Peazer started Youtube only a few months ago, but I think she’s a natural. She’s a professional dancer, and I know her through Liam Payne (from One Direction) who was her boyfriend. She seems very lovely and she is so beautiful! Her gift guide video for girls left me very excited for Christmas, and she has a big selection of nice gift ideas, too.

Tanya Burr loves baking and she posts a lot of baking videos (also releasing a baking/cook book next year, so exciting!), so she obviously had to bake something Christmas related. The cake she made turned out great, here you can watch it how she’d done it.

Here are some festive videos for you! I hope you enjoyed this post, because I certainly did! What’s your favourite Christmas video? I would love to know it! See you tomorrow! :)

Which Vlogmas To Watch | Blogmas Day 16

Hi! :)

As you all probably know by now, I am quite obsessed with Youtube. I watch a lot of videos by Youtubers in my free time and I love it so much. The most hectic time of year on Youtube has to be around Christmas time, because most Youtubers are doing vlogmas in December. It is the same as blogmas, just in videoblog form. These people post new videos every day up to Christmas, filming every day of theirs until the 24th or 25th, depending on what the person prefers to do.

I enjoy vlogmas a lot, and I watch all of the videos, which are posted. I like how festive some vlogmases get, because those leave me in a Christmassy mood as well. I wanted to share some of my favourites with you, in case you’re interested in it and would like to watch some or maybe all of a specific vlogmas.

My absolute favourite is Zoe Sugg, whose Youtube channel is called Zoella – and vlog channel MoreZoella. Her vlogmas is the definition of Christmas to me. I have never seen anyone who is so excited for Christmas and I LOVE it. Everything of hers around this time feels so Christmassy and she definitely leaves everyone in a festive mood. I especially love her intro this year, because it is the cutest vlogmas intro I have ever seen. Here is a video of her vlogmas for you:

Another favourite of mine is Tanya Burr. She is the sweetest person ever and I love watching her vlogmas. Her videos always leave me feeling calm and of course, festive. Her vlogmas is just as gorgeous as her. Here is an example of it, her 2nd day of vlogmas:

Louise Pentland’s aka SprinkleofGlitter’s – vlog channel SprinkleofChatter vlogmas is one of the funniest. Her jokes always crack me up and get me in a great mood. She has an adorable daughter, so when she’s in it, it feels like a very lovely family video. Louise likes to take these videos so that she can look back on these memories later, which I think is a really nice idea. Here is a day of hers:

I have to mention Niomi Smart, who doesn’t do vlogmas every day, but she vlogs a lot more in December than she usually does. She seems like a really kind and genuine person. I like her vlogmas a lot, it’s so lovely. Here is one of her videos:

Here are some of my favourites, although I have a lot more who I watch regularly. I hope you liked this post and the idea of vlogmas, I think it’s great. Do you watch any vlogmas videos? If so, let me know which ones in the comments below, I would love to discover maybe some new Youtubers! Have an amazing day! See you tomorrow! :)

Drive Thru Christmas Caroling | Blogmas Day 14

Hi! :)

I enjoy watching Christmassy videos where people come up with something new and different. The other day one of the youtubers I am subscribed to uploaded a video in which him and some of his friends teamed up to create an awesome video called Drive Thru Christmas Caroling. He is Stuart Edge, who usually makes prank videos and videos, which leave you feeling happy and calm. This video just did exactly that, and I thought it is worth to share it with you. You might find it creative and nice as well, at least I hope you do. Here is the video:

What do you think of it? I think it’s an amazing idea, and it’s inspiring to watch videos like this around this time of the year. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve ever seen a Christmassy video, which left you feeling happy! See you tomorrow!

Christmas Covers | Blogmas Day 7

Hi! :)

I could not leave out my favourite Christmas covers from Blogmas. Basically, I live on Youtube, so it was kind of expected from me to write a post in which I tell you what covers of Christmas songs I enjoy the most. Here are some of them, which came to my mind today:

I really hope you are getting into the Christmassy mood, if you haven’t so far! I would love to know what covers you enjoy the most, let me know in the comments! See you tomorrow! :)

My Favourite Covers

Hi! :)

I love listening to music, but the thing I like the most is listening to covers of songs. As you probably know, I am a huge fan of Youtube and I spend a lot of time on there. I am subscribed to a lot of music themed channels, so I listen to covers basically every single day. Hence why I decided to share my recent favourites with you. The songs are not in any particular order. Prepare yourselves, this is going to be a long post. Here we go.

I have been a subscriber of Leroy’s for years, and I literally am in love with all of his covers, let alone orginals. About a month ago he covered the song “Love Myself” by Hailee Steinfeld with Alyson Stoner and I like their version a lot.

A few days ago Gabrielle Aplin covered Sam Smith’s “Money On My Mind” (and a bit of “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit) and it made me very emotional. I haven’t really listened to her music so far, even though I know she have been around for a long time now. I saw her on Hudson Taylor’s channel a few times in the last couple of months, but didn’t have the urge to look for more information about what she does. When she did this cover on BBC Radio 1’s live lounge, I was truly amazed by her talent.

Troye Sivan – WILD (Album)

Hi! :)

Today, I am going to talk about an album that I love by Troye Sivan. He is a Youtuber, singer, songwriter and actor. I am so proud of what he have achieved during the last few years! I have been following his work for a few years, and when his first EP (called TRXYE) came out, I was so amazed by how great his music actually is. However, I prefer his newest album to the first one, it suits my taste better. I generally do not listen to songs that are a bit more electronic. This album though has the right amount of electronic twist in it, which I really like. There are six songs on it containing two collaborations.
