Today is the first day of Blogmas! Yay! I’m so excited about the upcoming posts this month. I’m here with my favourite songs of November. As you can probably see, this time the list is packed with songs from One Direction’s new album, called Made In The A.M. To be honest, I felt like I had to include all of these in this post, because I had listened to them throughout November quite a lot, so they deserve a place here. My favourite song from these 12 songs is actually End Of The Day by One Direction. If I had to recommend only one tune for you to listen to from the album, I would definitely say this song. It’s very energetic and fun, it makes me happy every time I listen to it. At the same time, I am obsessed with Eyes Shut by Years & Years, I think they are one of the most talented up-and-coming artists. Anyway, here we go. The songs are not in any particular order.
- End Of The Day – One Direction
- Adventure Of A Lifetime – Coldplay
- Never Enough – One Direction
- Joy To The World – Pentatonix
- Jinx – DNCE
- If I Could Fly – One Direction
- When We Were Young – Adele
- It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas – Michael Bublé
- History – One Direction
- Eyes Shut – Years & Years
- What A Feeling – One Direction
- Olivia – One Direction
Let me know in the comments below what your favourite song was in November, I would love to know! I hope you enjoyed the first day of Blogmas! See you tomorrow!
It’s finally November, my favourite month of the year! This means it’s another list of my favourite songs of the month. Lots of my favourite artists released new music in October, so in this month’s post the list only contains songs of musicians, which I listen to on a regular basis (expect for The Girl and the Dreamcatcher). The songs are not in any particular order.
- Love Me – The 1975
- Hey Everybody! – 5 Seconds Of Summer
- Hands Of Love – Miley Cyrus
- Me & The Rhythm – Selena Gomez
- Written In The Stars – The Girl and the Dreamcatcher
- Typical Me – Ella Eyre Continue reading Songs Of The Month – October
A month later, I’m here again with another Songs Of The Month post. September was an exciting month considering music. I listened to lots of my favourites’ songs, I think there is only one song which I hadn’t known the author of. I fell in love again with Ella Eyre, I listened to her album a lot throughout the month – and possibly got to love her even more, she’s a great talent. Let’s get to the list! The songs are not in any particular order.
- Good Times – Ella Eyre
- FOOLS – Troye Sivan
- Ditmas – Mumford & Sons
- Walk – Kwabs
- Love Myself – Hailee Steinfeld Continue reading Songs Of The Month – September
I love listening to music, but the thing I like the most is listening to covers of songs. As you probably know, I am a huge fan of Youtube and I spend a lot of time on there. I am subscribed to a lot of music themed channels, so I listen to covers basically every single day. Hence why I decided to share my recent favourites with you. The songs are not in any particular order. Prepare yourselves, this is going to be a long post. Here we go.
I have been a subscriber of Leroy’s for years, and I literally am in love with all of his covers, let alone orginals. About a month ago he covered the song “Love Myself” by Hailee Steinfeld with Alyson Stoner and I like their version a lot.
A few days ago Gabrielle Aplin covered Sam Smith’s “Money On My Mind” (and a bit of “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit) and it made me very emotional. I haven’t really listened to her music so far, even though I know she have been around for a long time now. I saw her on Hudson Taylor’s channel a few times in the last couple of months, but didn’t have the urge to look for more information about what she does. When she did this cover on BBC Radio 1’s live lounge, I was truly amazed by her talent.

School started two weeks ago and I have been so busy! Especially this year, I am trying to do my best at school and focus on learning as much as I can. It’s my final year in high school and I am utterly terrified. I am not exactly sure where I want to go next, which university and course I should choose. Plus the final exams will come so quickly and I don’t want it to arrive yet, haha. Somehow, I must study history more efficiently, because that final exam is the one I am most afraid about. I have never been great at history, it literally doesn’t interest me at all and I find the facts to get in my head so difficult. So I don’t know what I should do and I’m thinking about going to a private teacher or something like that. I honestly am going to try to be the best I possibly can be during this school year. I mean I had always done the most I could, but now it is actually very important to really see the outcome of the progress I’m trying to accomplish. I might be a maximalist, but if it does the job I would like to see, it’s perfect for me to be that. Continue reading September Update
I couldn’t write a new post yesterday, because we didn’t have internet, which was very annoying. But I’m here today with some of my random thoughts.
Firstly, I went to the premiere of Pitch Perfect 2, which I had been waiting for since the film was announced. It was the first time that I went alone to the cinema, which was a bit weird, but great at the same time. In my opinion the film was even better, than the first one. As you may or may not know, Pitch Perfect is my favourite film, so it was a huge relief that the second film was amazing as well. Pentatonix were also in the movie, which I was so excited about, even if they were on screen for about a minute. I loved every second of this movie, and I can’t wait to watch it in English, too, because in the cinema it was only available in Hungarian. I highly recommend this film to you, if you can, go and watch it! It was so funny, I was laughing almost the whole way through. I love it.

The first day of school in 2015 is officially over, so now I’m here with my monthly favourite songs. Last month I didn’t really recognize any new music, or I just didn’t like any that I had found. I listened to a lot of Christmas songs, as it was December, and I was listening to lots of my old favourites nonstop, too. To be honest, that one Taylor Swift song really bothers me, because as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t like her music. That song by her is probably my least favourite, but I couldn’t not put it in my favourites, since I listened to it a bunch of times on Youtube, and on the radio as well (but I haven’t downloaded it for those reasons). Anyway, it’s complicated. Let’s get on with the list! (They aren’t particularly in order.)
1. Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars
2. Give Our Dreams Their Wings To Fly – Tim McMorris
3. Best Day Of My Life – American Authors
4. Blank Space – Taylor Swift
5. Mirrors – Justin Timbrelake Continue reading Songs Of The Month – December
