My Winter To Be Read List | Books

Hi! :)

At the end of last year, I decided to order some new books off of Amazon, since I finished reading all the books I brought to Denmark. I managed to buy them for a very reasonable price. Four of them are completely new books, and the remaining three are used books, but in nice condition.

I already finished Let It Snow and The Christmasaurus in December, since both of them are holiday themed novels.

The next one I read will probably be Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. One thing I have always wanted to do was reading all of John Green’s books, and by reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson, I will complete that “dream” of mine. I’m very excited! When I finish it, I might even do a post only focusing on JG books.

After completing the book mentioned above, I would like to read The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. The fist aspect I noticed was its cover, but acquiring some information about its story and seeing reviews of it, I thought I’d buy it. I’m really interested in it, since I haven’t read anything compared to it yet.

Then, the ones left are Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven, The One We Fall in Love With by Paige Toon and finally Girl Online Going Solo by Zoe Sugg.

I read All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven before, which to be honest wasn’t my favourite. Although, upon hearing a lot of great things about her new book, Holding Up the Universe and all the hype around it, I thought I might as well give it another shot. We’ll see how it goes.

As most of you know, Zoe Sugg is a British Youtuber under the name Zoella, and she has created a book series called Girl Online. This one in the picture is the third one in line and I can’t wait to read it. I had no problem with her previous ones – unlike many other people – so I was excited for it to finally come out. It came out November, 2016.

I don’t think I have ever heard of any of Paige Toon’s books, but I might be wrong. I think this book either turned up in my Goodreads or Amazon recommended and the story caught my attention. I’m looking forward to reading it!

That’s it for now. See you soon! :)

March Book Haul

Hi! :)

The other day I ordered a bunch of books from Amazon and from a Hungarian website for a bargain price. I received the package today, and I thought I would do a book haul on it, since I am so excited about reading all of them.

The first book I bought is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. I think the cover of it seems very interesting, and for me the story got me interested in it immediately. I believe it is about a child, who has some kind of a facial abnormality and tries to be accepted by everyone else when he’s sent to a school.

Another book I am eager to read is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I’ve heard a lot of great things about it and that it’s a beautiful story about a girl who applies for a job, which is to help a guy who had a motorcycle accident (I know I’m not the best at describing things). There will be a movie adaptation coming out later this year, too, and the trailer seems amazing.

I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson is a book I don’t know that much about, but still heard awesome opinions about it. All I know is that it deals with twins who are drifing apart from each other, but then something happens that changes everything.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon is about a girl, who is allergic to everything and has never left her house. Then one day she looks out her window and notices a guy who has just moved there and he catches her looking and stares at her. That’s when everything starts. I am so excited to read this book! The storyline really interests me, and I absolutely love the cover.

The next book I ordered is called The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson. It’s about a boy who wants to be a girl, as simple as that. I think the story is very unique, because that’s definitely not a topic I have ever read about, so I’m quite interested in it.

Last, but not least I got Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz in Hungarian. The cover is the same and I think it’s gorgeous, probably my favourite cover out of all of these. I’m not sure of the story, but I know that it’s about a special friendship. After seeing the cover, I am psyched about starting this book soon.

These are the books I will be reading in the next few months. What is a book you’re currently reading? Let me know in the comments below! Right now I am reading a book by a Hungarian author. I hope you’ll have a lovely day! See you soon! :)
