You may wonder why a picture of Chicago is on my blog, since I’m from Hungary. Yes, when you come to my blog, the first thing you can see is a photo about Chicago. Let me explain it for you.
I have already been in Chicago twice so far, and when I was there for the first time a few years ago, I fell in love with the city. I visited some of my relatives who live in the US, and we went to Chicago together, because it’s not far away from where they live and they wanted to show me around a little bit. Well, when we arrived there I was amazed by the view. I had never felt like that before. Generally, I’m not that type of girl who is always smiling, and happy, but while I was there, I could not stop smiling the whole time. I was so happy to be there, that nothing could have stopped me for feeling wonderful. We were there for only a couple of days, but I would have never gone anywhere else from Chicago. I even made a presentation about the Windy city for a school project last year. Continue reading Chicago
Well, I thought I would do a post about school stuff and how I feel about being back in school. School started on 1st September in Hungary, and it has just been only two weeks, but I already feel exhausted. On the first day we got our timetable for the whole year which one of our teachers’ dictated to us. I almost had a mental breakdown (some of my classmates actually did) that day, because we got the worst timetable in our life ever. And in our school, and even in our city, too. So yeah, that pretty much sums up how terrible our timetable is. One class lasts for 45 minutes and there are 10 minute breaks after every class. There are two breaks which are longer, 20 minutes, these are the lunch breaks. The timetable is like for two days I have 10 classes, and then also for two days 9 classes, and on the last day I have 6 classes. The conclusion is, that this really-really sucks, personally I finish in school at 5 p.m. when I have 10 classes. And what happens after that?! How am I going to learn for the next day? Continue reading Back In School
I thought I’m going to share my favourite songs of last month with you, which I think I will keep writing in every month. That’s something I enjoy seeing on other blogs, because you never know when you’ll come across with a good song you have not known before. So here are the songs I listened to the most in August (not exactly in order).
- Rather Be – Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne
- Boom Clap – Charli XCX
- Cool Kids – Ecosmith
- A Sky Full Of Stars – Coldplay
- Maps – Maroon 5 Continue reading Songs Of The Month – August
As I promised, I’m back with a ‘facts about me’ post, just to let you know some things about me in case if you’re interested. It’s a kind of life related blog (as I mentioned earlier), so I think it’s important in a way to tell something about me to you. So here are five facts about me:
1. I am from Hungary, and you can guess what my native language is: It’s Hungarian. I found a picture on Google to show you where Hungary is in case you didn’t know.
2. I also speak English (as you can see haha) and Spanish. I try to do my best at these languages because I really like them. I’ve learnt English for quite a long time now, but I started to learn Spanish only two years ago, so I’m not that good in it yet. Continue reading 5 Facts About Me
You know what? I thought I’d give blogging a go. I’ve been thinking about starting to write a blog in English for a few years now, and I haven’t actually had the confidence to do it. However, so many things have happened to me lately, that I had the feeling to finally write. Because I love to write. My first language isn’t English, so I was and still am a little bit scared of this whole thing, but I feel like I’ve become braver through the stuff which is going on in my life right now. I just have to say what my opinion is on these things, which I normally do not tell other people. So sorry if my English isn’t that great, but I’m working on it and hopefully I will be getting better and better.
I created this blog as I said because I’ve wanted to start it for a very long time, but also, because I had been writing several blogs in my native language for years which I really enjoyed. The next post will be a ‘5 or 10 facts about me’ post (I don’t exactly know yet), so if you accidentally found my blog, you will get to know me better. It will be a life related blog where I’m going to write about what happens in my life, what my opinion is about different topics and other things, and really, whatever comes to my mind when I’m feeling a little bit creative and just want to post something.
That’s all for today, thanks for being here!
(P.s. most of the photos that are on this blog, I do not own any rights of!)
