Why You Should Have A Haircut

Hi! :)

A week ago I went to the hairdresser’s to have my hair cut. I feel like we – or me at least – do not appreciate having haircuts enough. I don’t go to the hairdresser’s too often to have a haircut, and last week made me realise how a simple thing like this could change our perspectives and opinions on certain matters.

I have to say, every time I have a haircut I feel amazing afterwards. I feel like a completely new person. It not only gives you a fresh new, healthy look, but also boosts your mood. You get a bit of a relaxation time for yourself and that hour or so is just yours and not anyone else’s.

I am certain after a haircut you feel like you’ve just lost a lot of weight, because your hair feels soooo light. Am I right? (I know I am, haha!) Treating yourself now and then is necessary and why won’t you spend it with going to the hairdresser’s to freshen up your look a little bit? You can always get great advice there as well, and your hair will smell wonderful afterwards, too.

They say when you cut your hair, it changes your life. In my opinion it’s totally true. First, you feel relieved when you’ve finally made the decision to do it. Also, you’ll look different. It takes a bit to get used to, but after you’ve accepted the fact that you look slightly weird (because let’s face it, it feels strange when you cut your hair – it’s like you have a whole new different face haha), you’ll be proud of yourself. It sure takes a lot of courage to cut your hair, especially if it’s a big amount of hair. You SHOULD be proud and happy that you did it. People notice these changes and compliment you, and you immediately have your day made, or at least it’s got a bit better.

So all in all, I just want to say that you definitely should cut your hair, because it’s totally worth it! You will have a healthier hair and it will grow back faster as well, trust me! It is the most awesome thing after you get used to it. I like it being shorter, because it’s easier to handle and it doesn’t take that long to dry and untangle my hair, too. Are you considering getting a haircut soon? Let me know in the comments! I hope you enjoyed reading this post, even if it was quite different from the usual stuff. See you soon! :)

Songs Of The Month – March

Hi! :)

It’s SO crazy that April is already here! Final exams are just in a month, which I’m terrified of, but I’ll do great I decided. I have to have a lot more confidence, don’t I? Anyway, here I am with the songs I listened to the most throughout March. I love this list, because almost all tunes are by my favourite artists. I’m still getting used to Zayn’s new music, and some of MAX’s stuff I don’t really like (however, he is extremely talented), but the songs of theirs on the list I like a lot. iT’s YoU is probably my favourite song of ZAYN’s album, Mind Of Mine (which I did a blog post on), and I also caught myself getting back to the song called Lights Down Low by MAX, because I love its vibe. All the others in my top 10 belong to my favourite artists, so it’s not surprising that some of their tunes are on the list. Finally, here they are (not in any particular order, as usual).

  1. Breathe Life – Jack Garratt
  2. iT’s YoU – Zayn
  3. Soundcheck – Catfish and the Bottlemen
  4. Unsteady – X Ambassadors (Live on Seth Meyers)
  5. Work Song – Hozier
  6. The Sound – The 1975
  7. Fragile – Kygo & Labirinth
  8. Far Cry – Jack Garratt
  9. Lights Down Low – MAX
  10. Black Water Lilies – AURORA
