I had mentioned it a while ago that I wanted to write about the youtubers I watch, and mostly about my favourite ones. The day has come, it’s the first post of this ’series’, which I’m very excited about, since I love talking about youtubers and Youtube in general. I thought I will start with one of my favourite person on Youtube, Leroy Sanchez.
Leroy has been on Youtube for over 8 years now, which is really crazy to think about, almost right after Youtube had been created. He is a 23-year-old Spanish singer and songwriter, who currently lives in Los Angeles. He happened to be one of the first people who I’d found on Youtube, which is insane. I have known him for about 4 years, and he still is one of the best artists out there I think. His voice is amazing, unique, beautiful and very calming. I have loved every single song he’s covered and it’s just so nice to listen to him. Continue reading Youtubers – Leroy Sanchez
This post is also going to be an update kind of thing, because unfortunately I’m very busy and I don’t feel like my best right now, so sorry about that. As I said last time, I’m here to tell you how my grades turned out. I got very good grades, mostly 5s (in the USA it’s the grade A), but I have to improve my math and physics grades, because I’m terrible at them right now (mainly in math)… But I think I can be a lot better in math, my teacher said that I can get two grades better than what I got this half year. So I’m really dedicated about that, and we’re going to write a math test on Monday, what I hope will turn out great.
Anyway, today I was at Educatio, which is a kind of education exhibition, where you can find lots of new information about universities and colleges in Hungary and also abroad. Since I don’t know what I want to do as a profession yet, I thought it was a good idea to visit this exhibition one year before it’s too late. After being there for a few hours I still don’t know what I’m going to do, which is very scary. I want to study abroad for several reasons, but I haven’t got an idea which course I would like to learn. I just hope that I’ll figure it out by the end of summer, because if I don’t, then I’ll be in a very big trouble… Continue reading Grades and Education Exhibition
Wow, it was a very busy week for me! I’m glad it’s finally over. I was an emotional rollercoaster throughout the week, and it’s continuing next week. I had lots of tests this week, and also last week, so I was very stressed about everything, really. Next week I’ll have 3 chapter tests on the first 2 days already, so I’m pretty terrified by even thinking about that.
Since it’s the beginning of January and the end of the first half of the school year, the teachers go crazy, and we have to write loads of tests in a very small amount of time. It’s very exhausting. I literally can’t remember of all the things that have happened this week, but I managed to get some good grades before the first half of the year is over.
I think we’ll get our „final” grades next week, but maybe this weekend?! I don’t really know. This year I set a goal in front of me, and I concentrated so hard to reach it. I tried my best. I’m so happy, that I managed to reach my goal! This is the first year/half year when I actually am happy about the grades I got from almost all subjects. To be honest, I’m very upset about my Maths grade, because I don’t hate Maths or anything, but it is just to hard for me. At least this part of it which we covered so far this year. But I have already improved a lot since the start, and I want to reach my best till the end of the year, because I know I can do it. My teacher said that if I try hard I can get a lot better grade in the end. So I hope I’ll be successful in that. Continue reading School Update
More than a week ago I was nominated for the Liebster Award by the lovely Findthefactors, which I am very grateful for! I would have never imagined that I will ever be nominated for something, so I was very surprised, when I had found she nominated me. Thank you so much again!
The original rules are that you have to write 11 facts about yourself, answer 11 questions, nominate 11 blogs you like, and then write 11 questions for your nominees. Well, to be honest I read a lot of Hungarian blogs, mainly fanfictions, so I can’t really nominate them, because of several reasons. But one of them is that they don’t speak English, so they wouldn’t be able to read this post. Anyway, instead of nominating the fanfictions I like, I will give the award to some blogs written in English. Since I don’t follow that many blogs in English which aren’t that popular yet, I did a little bit of a last minute research to find some blogs that really cought my attention, and are very well-done, and nicely written. And of course, which are my cup of tea. I won’t have 11, but at least I tried, didn’t I?
11 random facts:
1. I have broken my leg when I was still in primary school. Continue reading Liebster Award
The first day of school in 2015 is officially over, so now I’m here with my monthly favourite songs. Last month I didn’t really recognize any new music, or I just didn’t like any that I had found. I listened to a lot of Christmas songs, as it was December, and I was listening to lots of my old favourites nonstop, too. To be honest, that one Taylor Swift song really bothers me, because as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t like her music. That song by her is probably my least favourite, but I couldn’t not put it in my favourites, since I listened to it a bunch of times on Youtube, and on the radio as well (but I haven’t downloaded it for those reasons). Anyway, it’s complicated. Let’s get on with the list! (They aren’t particularly in order.)
1. Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars
2. Give Our Dreams Their Wings To Fly – Tim McMorris
3. Best Day Of My Life – American Authors
4. Blank Space – Taylor Swift
5. Mirrors – Justin Timbrelake Continue reading Songs Of The Month – December
Happy New Year to everyone! 2014 flew by so quickly, that is insane. I didn’t even realize how fast it ended, because I was stressing so much about everything. For this post, I wanted to write about my ‘plans’ for 2015, so in this way I completely end the past year, and start a new one.
I haven’t really done New Year’s resolutions in my life, because when I did, I failed very quickly with trying to achieve them. So instead of making resolutions, which a huge percent of the people won’t complete, I decided to set goals for myself this year. This way I hope I will be more successful with achieving my goals, than making a resolution. But who knows, maybe I’ll fail at the beginning. I don’t know. I think that setting a lot goals for the new year isn’t the best decision, because you won’t be able to focus on all of them and by the end of the year, luckily you will complete one of your goals. Because of this reason, I only set three goals for myself hoping that I’ll be successful with less things to focus on.
1. Eat healthier! I’m that kind of person who eats every unhealthy food, and I like to eat whenever I’m bored, so I eat a lot of rubbish food and sweets. So because of that, I want to eat healthier, and eventually reduce the amount of the chocolate that I’m eating to once a week, or so, and maybe replace it with dark chocolate. And also every other unhealthy food. I want to eat a lot more vegetables and fruits than I have eaten before, and don’t eat that much bread. Continue reading Goals For The New Year
